about

Vulpes Corvum was written in a weekend by Poly-Math's Joe Branton and For The Love Of Pipes' Emma Larcombe during the Social Distancing period caused by Coronavirus.

We recorded this EP using Presonus Studio One Artist, the Cherry Audio Voltage Modular, the Korg Kaoss Pad App, Izotope Effects and Mastering Software, and Two Notes Wall Of Sound.

All live synthesizers were recorded using a 1979 Korg MS-10 through a Line 6 Helix LT.

The guitars used were a 1989 Greco RS-90, a 1981 Tokai LS-100 and a 1991 Martin D-28. The bass used was a 2006 Fender 50's Precision Bass. All guitars and basses and effects were recorded using a Line 6 Helix LT.

All field recordings were sourced either from freesound.org or by using an Izotope Spire Studio.

The album used software and plug-ins made available for free by companies looking to support idle musicians in this tough and bleak time.
